Geography
The Kochav Yaakov was founded in 1984. Located a few kilometers north of Jerusalem, not even 20 minutes from the kotel.

Population
The Yishuv is rapidly expanding, holding today 900 families, including the Tel-Tsion neighborhood. The speedy development allows us to double the population by the end of 2007. All realms of religious Judaism are represented there in perfect harmony. Kochav Yaakov is known for its strong united Anglo-Saxon community.
